Itinerary
Your day begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a scenic 4-hour drive to the iconic Masai Mara. Journey through the Great Rift Valley with a stop to admire the views. Arrive at your lodge or camp for a welcome drink and lunch.
After a brief rest, set out on an exciting afternoon game drive. You can expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and, if lucky, the elusive leopard, completing the famed Big Five. You may also see hippos, crocodiles near the Mara River, and herds of wildebeest, especially during the migration season. You'll return by sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
Enjoy the evening by a campfire or under the stars, immersed in the magic and sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 2 begins with an early start and coffee at your lodge or camp before heading out for a full-day game drive across the breathtaking Masai Mara. As the sun rises, the savannah comes alive with activity. This is prime time to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and possibly leopards on the hunt. After breakfast at the lodge, we drive you across diverse landscapes, from open grasslands to riverine forests, increasing your chances of seeing the Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino - along with giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species.
A scenic picnic lunch in the wild provides a unique and peaceful experience. The afternoon drive offers more wildlife sightings, including elephants at waterholes and lions resting in the shade. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation under the stars, reflecting on a truly unforgettable safari experience.
Day 3 begins after breakfast at your lodge or camp, followed by a short morning game drive, a final opportunity to experience the magic of Masai Mara and spot any wildlife you may have missed. Enjoy the peaceful early hours as animals begin their day, with chances to see elephants, antelopes, big cats, and vibrant birdlife one last time.
After the game drive, begin your scenic journey back to Nairobi, passing through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you may stop at a viewpoint for photos or a quick break to stretch and enjoy the views.
You will arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your onward plans. Though your safari comes to an end, the memories of Masai Mara’s breathtaking wildlife and landscapes will stay with you forever.
